FEEDING DIRECTIONS:

Offer Buckeye Rabbit Pellets free choice to both young and adult rabbits in a rabbit feeder or a clean feed bowl. Rabbits are basically nocturnal feeders and will consume most of their feed at night. Do not feed more than they will consume in one day. Some general guidelines for feeding are:

Rabbits will consume approximately 1 ounce of feed per pound of body weight per day or approximately 6% of body weight per day. The amount fed to breeding does may need to be limited to maintain proper body weight and condition for top reproductive performance. Growing rabbits and lactating does will require more food per day. If does are in continual production we recommend Buckeye 18% Rabbit Developer Pellets rather than Buckeye 16% Rabbit Pellets. No supplemental vitamins, minerals, or hay is necessary since Buckeye Rabbit Feeds are nutritionally complete and balanced. Plenty of clean, fresh water should be provided at all times.
