FEEDING DIRECTIONS:

Feed Buckeye 18% Gold'n Lamb at the rate of between 2.0 and 3.5% of body weight along with a limited amount of excellent quality hay so as not to develop excessive gut in the growing animals. Maintain a clean, fresh supply of water and have white, loose salt available for the animals at all times. If additional or more rapid weight gains are required to make show weight, 25% shelled corn may be substituted for Buckeye 18% Gold'n Lamb, but care must be exercised so as not to allow the lamb to become overconditioned or carry excess fat. Buckeye 18% Gold'n Lamb can be fed as a holding ration by limiting the amount of grain to 1.5% of bodyweight with limited amounts of excellent hay. It is recommended that the animal be placed on full feed about two weeks prior to the show to put bloom on the show animal which may have been partially lost during the holding phase.
