FEEDING DIRECTIONS:

Feed with hay to all types of goats. Contains all the nutrients necessary for maximum growth and milk production.
 

1) KIDS: If milk replacer is required for the baby kids, use Buckeye Lamb Milk Replacer from birth to 4 to 5 weeks of age. Baby kids should receive Colostrum for the first 2 to 3 days of life.
 

2) From 4 months of age to kidding, feed Buckeye Goat Feed and excellent quality hay. Vary the amount of grain fed according to individual body condition, but do not exceed 1% of body weight from grain. Feed Buckeye Goat Feed to milking does at the rate of 1 pound of grain for each 2 to 3 pounds of milk produced. Feed excellent quality hay at all time. Goats are browsing ruminants and are one of the most definitive eaters compared to other farm animals. Feed your goats only feed stuffs of excellent quality.
 

3) Dry does and bucks should be fed grass hay.
 

4) Make available on a free choice basis both Buckeye Sheep & Goat Mineral and Buckeye TM Salt with Selenium to all goats. Maintain a clean, fresh supply of water.
