FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Lambs
Mix at the rate of 2 lb per gallon of water or 0.25 lb of Buckeye Lamb Milk Replacer with 16 oz (1 pint) of water.

1. Ensure that the lamb receives colostrum during the first 12 hours of life.

2. For hand feeding with a nipple bottle or restricted feeding, offer warm at 100°F. It is recommended to offer 3 to 6 feedings per day of warm milk during the first two weeks of life and thereafter 2 feedings per day. Never offer more than ½ pint per feeding.

3. For best results, mix the lamb milk replacer with cold water and offer ad-libitum to lambs through a suitable nipple feeder. Milk should be available at all times. Reconstituted Lamb Milk Replacer should be changed and equipment cleaned every 24 hours or less.

4. Provide Buckeye 18% Lamb Starter in a lamb creep at 10 to 14 days of age and restrict hay intake to the amount the lambs will consume in one hour.

5. Wean lambs at a minimum of 30 days of age, weighing at least 25 pounds.

Goat Kids
Mix at the rate of 1.5 lb per gallon of water (0.2 lb of powder per pint of water).

1. Goat kids can be fed on a restricted basis or offered ad-libitum through a suitable feeder. In all cases, ensure kids receive colostrum during the first 24 hours after parturition. For the first few days, feed a limited quantity of a maximum of 1 pint per feeding up to 3 to 4 times a day. As the kids get older, reduce the number of feedings per day.

2. Start goat kids on Buckeye 16% Goat Feed at 5 to 8 days of age. At 4 weeks of age, limited amounts of excellent quality hay should be introduced to the kids. If coccidiosis is a problem with the young kids, they may be fed Buckeye 18% Calf Starter medicated with Deccox.
