FEEDING DIRECTIONS:

Because of the improved digestibility of Alfa Plus Performer, less pounds per day need to be fed, when compared to other horse feed. Remember to increase the amount of alfalfa hay when you feed less Alfa Plus Performer. Adjust the pounds of Alfa Plus Performer fed daily according to the desired weight of your horse. The maximum amount to feed/feeding is 5 lbs/1000 lbs of body weight.
 

For Mature Horses: The following chart is the amount of Alfa Plus Performer to feed in pounds/day showing minimum and maximum with the minimum lbs of hay per day (in parenthesis).

For Young, Growing Horses: Refer to the Growth and Performance Chart to determine the number of pounds required per day. Alfa Gro'N Win® must be added to Alfa Plus Performer to attain the necessary feeding rates per day.

Adjust the pounds of Alfa Plus Performer fed daily according to their desired body weight.

If additional body weight is desired and the maximum of Alfa Plus Performer is being fed per day, add ½ to 1 lb of ULTIMATE FINISH.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

If the above minimum is too many pounds to feed/day, subtract 3.5 lbs of Alfa Plus Performer from the above chart and add one pound of Alfa Gro'N Win®/day. This will maintain mineral and vitamin levels while decreasing calories in the total diet.
